Resume a run that's waiting for payment

If your organization’s balance empties while a run is working, the run doesn’t fail — it stops where it is and waits. This page covers getting that run moving again. For how the balance works and what counts as spend, see Credits and billing.

Confirm the run is waiting for payment

A run that paused for an empty balance sits in the Waiting for Payment state. Open the run detail page — the status badge near the top reads Waiting for Payment, and a notice explains that the balance dropped below zero after a step finished, so no further work will start until there’s credit to cover it.

Nothing already done is lost. The run holds its place, and it will pick up from the step right after the one where it paused — no completed work is repeated.

Top up the balance

The run is waiting on one thing: credit. Until the organization’s balance is back above zero, the run can’t continue.

Adding credits is handled through DIJJI.ai support — reach out and the credits are applied to your organization. Once they land, they appear in the Credits & Adjustments list on the Billing page. See Credits and billing for the full picture on balances and top-ups.

Top up enough to clear zero. A partial top-up that leaves the balance still negative won’t release the run — it stays paused until the balance is positive.

The run usually continues on its own

When the balance goes positive, DIJJI.ai resumes every run that was paused for payment — you don’t have to press anything. Back on the run detail page you’ll see the run leave Waiting for Payment, return to Running, and carry on from the next step.

There’s a short delay between the credits being applied and the run restarting. Give it a moment and refresh if the page still shows the old state.

The Resume Run button

If the balance is topped up but a run is still showing Waiting for Payment, you can start it yourself. The run detail page shows a Resume Run button on the payment notice — select it and the run resumes from the step after the one where it paused.

Use this button only after you’ve confirmed the balance is positive. Resuming on a balance that’s still below zero won’t get the run anywhere — it will reach the next step and pause for payment again.

For every state a run can pass through, and the other ways a run pauses for you, see Run states.
