When someone no longer needs access to your organization, you remove them from the Members page. Removal takes effect immediately. This page covers how to do it and what it affects.
Removing a member is an admin action. A member sees the people list but not the controls to remove anyone.
Remove a person
- Open Settings and select the Members page.
- Find the person in the member list and select the menu (the ⋯ button) at the end of their row.
- Choose Remove.
- A confirmation dialog opens — Remove Team Member — stating “Are you sure you want to remove (name) from the organization? They will lose access immediately.”
- Select Remove to confirm, or Cancel to keep them.
What removal does
Removing a person:
- Revokes their access immediately. They can no longer sign in to the organization.
- Takes them out of every team. Their team memberships are all cleared as part of removal.
The organization’s work stays put. Projects, pipelines, tasks, and runs belong to the organization and its teams — removing the person who set them up doesn’t delete any of it.
What you can’t do
You can’t remove yourself. DIJJI.ai blocks it with “You cannot remove yourself from the organization.” If you’re stepping away, ask another admin to remove you.
As with role changes, make sure the organization keeps at least one admin — don’t remove people in an order that leaves no one able to manage billing, invitations, and settings.
To bring someone back after removal, send them a fresh invitation. If you only need to change what a person can do rather than remove them, see Change a member’s role.
