A project’s name and description are the two fields you can edit after creating it. This page is the operation: open Settings, change a field, save. For everything that’s set when the project is first created, see Create a project.
Open Settings
Select Projects in the left icon rail and open the project. Along the project’s pill strip you’ll see Overview, Plan, Deliver, Assure, Reports, and Settings. For this operation, select the Settings pill.
Settings is a two-column page made up of several cards. The left column holds General and Integration Details (along with other cards). You’ll do the edit in the General card.
Edit the fields
In the General card:
- Project Name (required) — 2 to 128 characters, for example
Checkout Service. - Description (optional) — up to 1024 characters. Leave it empty to clear an existing description.
Anything you change is reflected in the project header — the name and description shown above the pill strip — once you save.
Save the change
Select Save Changes at the bottom of the General card. The button stays disabled until you’ve actually changed something, so an unedited form can’t be saved.
While the save is in progress the button reads Saving…. On success, a green Settings saved successfully message appears above the form and clears itself after a few seconds.
If a field is invalid — an empty name, or one outside the length limits — DIJJI.ai flags it inline. Fix the flagged field and select Save Changes again.
To leave without saving, select Cancel. It returns you to the project’s Overview page and discards any unsaved edits.
What you can’t change here
The Integration Details card on the same page is read-only. The Repository and PM Tool a project was created against are fixed for the life of the project — to point DIJJI.ai at a different repository, create a new project.
Settings also hosts Slack notifications for the project. Setting those up is a separate operation — see Set up Slack notifications for a project.
